Dagmara Sójka from UniLodz Joins "Nauka ma głos"!

We are pleased to announce that mgr Dagmara Sójka has been selected as one of 25 scientists from across the country to participate in the "Nauka ma głos" [Science Has a Voice] project, implemented by the Copernicus Science Centre in cooperation with the Minister of Science and Higher Education.

Opublikowano: 10 March 2026

Twenty five scientists, including a representative of one of our faculty's disciplines – socio-economic geography and spatial planning, were selected out of 87 applications.

The project aims to strengthen the dialogue between science and society, promote research and build trust in science and its methods. Scientists will popularise science across Poland, educating audiences about the importance of scientific research and its impact on our lives through meetings at the Copernicus Science Centre and partner centres – the Discovery, Imagination and Activity Zones (SOWA).

Our representative's participation in the project is a significant contribution to disseminating reliable knowledge and strengthening the presence of science, including geography, in the public sphere. We would like to offer our congratulations and wish Dagmara inspiring experiences, many fascinating meetings and success in communicating science to a broad audience!
